Dyer County vs. Chester County football photo album (photos by Roger Smith, rogersmithphoto.com)

Dyer County defender Jeff Miller (32) and a Choctaws teammate zero in on Chester County ballcarrier Will Jones (12) during Friday night's game in Newbern. The Choctaws won the game 48-0 to highlight homecoming week at DCHS.
After beating his blocker, Dyer County's Eric McLin (8) made a leap over another Chester County player to get a grasp on the Eagles' runner. McLin and his DC mates held the visitors to a total of minus-seven yards from scrimmage and prohibited them from recording a first down in the contest.
Senior receiver Jared Hunter (10) brought the ball down from his shoulder and held on to score one of his two touchdowns Friday night for Dyer County. Hunter caught scoring strikes of 30 and 18 yards to help the Choctaws win for the fourth time in five outings.
With a sturdy grasp on the jersey of Chester County quarterback Ethan Ross (5), Dyer County defensive end Dustin DeSpain (78) records a sack.
Junior linebacker Jeff Miller (32) stops Eagles runningback Hayden Clayton (2) with a solid hit during Friday night's homecoming affair at Dyer County.
A leap and a stretch were almost enough to give Dyer County receiver Jared Hunter (10) a picture-perfect touchdown catch over the hand of Chester County defensive back Jason Record. Despite a tremendous effort, the ball slipped beyond Hunter's fingertips and fell incomplete.
Members of Dyer County's 2007 homecoming court introduced in pre-game ceremonies Friday night included (front, left to right) Lawrence Lusk, Mattie Kent and (back, left to right) freshman maid Katherine King, sophomore maid Katie Brock, junior maid Beth Fisher, senior maid Jordan Fry, senior maid Deven McClain, senior queen Mallory Roberson, senior maid Brittany King, junior maid Hannah Stewart, sophomore maid Chelsea Lucas and freshman maid Myla Thompson.
