Everybody wearing orange was happy prior to Dyer County's game Friday night against McNairy Central, especially 22-month-old Keaton Hunter. The Choctaws' 38-7 setback soured the mood of the DC faithful, but couldn't spoil the toddler's sweet disposition. The child is the son of Chad and Sally Hunter of Dyersburg.
Dyer County quarterback Adam Clark lofts an outlet pass to backfield mate B.A. Davis in first-half action at Selmer. The Choctaws couldn't get their offense in gear, going deep into the final quarter before finding the end zone.

McNairy County fullback Darron Turner (44) lowers his head and powers his way into the end zone to give the home team another touchdown. Turner and his teammates handed the visiting choctaws a 38-7 loss.

Despite the score, Dyer County cheerleader Katie Brock keeps supporting her team. Brock is a sophomore at DCHS.
