McKenzie High School's defense make a gang tackle against Lexington during the Sports Orthopedic and Spine Kickoff Scrimmage at Crockett County last Friday night. The Rebels topped Lexington 7-0.

McKenzie and Crockett County squared off in the final pairing of Friday night's Kickoff Scrimmage in Alamo. McKenzie beat the host Cavaliers 14-7.

Huntingdon senior Cole McAdams was the winner of the kicking competition held between the JV and varsity scrimmages during the Kickoff Scrimmage at Crockett County Friday night.

McKenzie senior Derek Carr won the passing competition with a throw of 56 yards. It was the second straight year that he won that event in the skills competition and the third straight year a McKenzie quarterback has won. Drew Hayes won in 2005.
