The Trojans finished with 84 points, matching Munford's total, but lost the tie-breaker to finish third.

Dyersburg finished with 73 points, two points behind Obion County Central for the runner-up spot.

The Choctaws' Aaron Montgomery finished fifth overall with an individual time of 19:18.
Dyersburg runner's Andrew Sanders and George Vasquez keep a similar pace Tuesday in Newbern. Sanders finished second with a time of 18:48 and Vasquez finished seventh with a time of 19:30.
Despite dealing with a nagging knee injury the Lady Trojans' Courtney Beckley finished fifteenth with a time of 26:03.
DC's Holly Johnson finished second Tuesday with a time of 22:25.
Dyer County freshman Chelsey Roberson sets the pace for the runners Tuesday at DCHS. Roberson was the individual winner and helped the Lady Choctaws take the team title. Roberson's 5k time was 22:09.
The Lady Trojans' Paige Waldron keeps up the pace during cross country competition Tuesday.
Dyersburg High School's Sara Beth Byars runs in the Dyer County Invitational Cross Country meet Tuesday in Newbern. Byars led the Dyersburg girls and finished sixth overall.
The Lady Choctaws' Mallory Roberson finished the DCHS cross country meet in fifth place with a time of 23:47 in Newbern Tuesday.
